For five generations, the Caille family in Monnieres has been producing high quality Muscadet. On three different types of "terroir", they plough and let the natural grass grow between the rows, control their grape production, vinify with traditional methods and let the wine age on its "lie"(fermenting yeast) for several months. All this enables them to make a high quality Muscadet.
